Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club

The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club, chartered in 1926, has been serving
Fuquay-Varina for nearly 100 years. Our members serve our community
through volunteer service and the fundraising that supports our service
projects.

Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club is a member of the General Federation of
Woman’s Clubs (GFWC) as well as the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs
of North Carolina (GFWC-NC). These larger organizations offer structure,
pooling of ideas to help our local communities, and allows member clubs
to connect on issues that are important to women. This larger focus
allowed our member clubs to be a large part of why mammograms are now
free under your insurance plan.

The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club volunteers work together to expand our
impact in Fuquay-Varina. We offer scholarships in education, host a GFWC
Arts Festival, work to improve our environment, strive for better civic
engagement, and we work to improve the health and wellness of the
citizens of Fuquay-Varina.

OUR IMPACT
The impact of our volunteer work is measured in the lives we affect and
the changes we make in Fuquay-Varina. We are diverse in age, interests,
and experiences, but we are united by a desire to create positive
change, and together, we transform lives every day.
